First, it was dough ...

... and then it was bread, and now it is gone.
This was a new one for us: Finnish coffee bread, made with cardamom. It didn't taste much like coffee, but there were no complaints.

We make this stuff every Christmas. My wife came from an area in Maine with a large Finnish population. It's called Nissu (sp?) and it wouldn't be Christmas at our house without it.
